Bimpse is the work of Cara Gael O'Regan, a Lower Hudson Valley-based multimedia artist, health advocate, and freelancer.
Cara works with everything from painting to Photoshop to podcasting to peonies to create work for clients, art shows, and followers of her digital projects.
Drawing on her own lived experience as a patient, her artwork often centers themes of the bodily experience, visibility, chronic pain, and mortality. She can also paint a heck of a nice sunset or portrait of your dog, and would be happy to do so on commission. You can purchase art prints and other print-on-demand products featuring Cara's artwork in her Society6 shop.
Cara is the creator, host and producer of a podcast called In Sickness + In Health. The show features discussions about our relationships with our bodies, and issues related to chronic illness, disability, healthcare, and mortality.
Most recently, she is also co-hosting the pop culture nostalgia podcast, Wistful Thinking, for the Cage Club Podcast Network.
In addition to her self-driven creative and advocacy work, Cara also continues to freelance in marketing, technology, and floral design.
